The width at the ball of the foot in size 42 was comfortably snug for Maria's foot, only the toes felt a bit tight since Maria is used to a large toe box in shoes. In size 43, the toes had plenty of room, the width was very good, but the shoes could still be tightened nicely with the laces for a comfortable fit.
